Job Title: Engineering Project Manager

Location: Durham, NC (Hybrid/Onsite Schedule)

Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Pay Range: $100,000 to $125,000 per year (40 hour per week schedule)

Belcan is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to support one of our energy industry clients in Durham, NC long term. This is an exciting opportunity to lead large, cross-functional engineering programs focused on the development and delivery of innovative products and technologies in a rapidly growing, technology-driven environment.

In this role, you will serve as the primary project leader coordinating engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and customer stakeholders to ensure programs are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.

What You'll Do

• Lead complex new product development and engineering programs from initiation through execution and delivery
\n
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and resources across multiple workstreams
\n
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality, and customer stakeholders
\n
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource forecasts, and project reporting metrics
\n
• Monitor program performance and drive timely resolution of technical and project-related challenges
\n
• Manage project change requests, scope adjustments, and contractual requirements
\n
• Facilitate communication between Belcan leadership, project teams, vendors, and customers
\n
• Ensure compliance with project quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations
\n
• Drive project execution while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction
\n

What We're Looking For

\n
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
\n
• 5+ years of experience leading complex engineering or product development programs
\n
• Demonstrated success managing projects from concept through completion
\n
• Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
\n
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, deliverables, and project risks
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and other project management tools
\n
• Ability to effectively lead cross-functional technical teams
\n

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification
\n
• Experience managing multi-year engineering programs with budgets exceeding $2M
\n
• Experience in product development, manufacturing, operations, procurement, or technology development environments
\n
• Industry experience in:
